(717) 626-3702

Biography

Mrs. Landis joined Warwick in 1998 as a sixth grade teacher at John R. Bonfield Elementary School.  After teaching sixth and third grades for many years, she became the Librarian at Lititz Elementary School in 2010.  Mrs. Landis enjoys sharing her love of reading and learning about the world we live in with her students. She finds it especially fun to teach all the grade levels, and to watch each student grow and mature during their seven years at Lititz El.  She strives to provide interesting books to support the curriculum and student’s independent reading needs.  Mrs. Landis believes that reading widely for research and pleasure is a great way to expand one’s horizons and make sense of the world around us.  Her goal is to create life-long readers and learners.

It is no surprise that in her spare time Mrs. Landis likes to read, particularly realistic and historical fiction.  She also likes to spend as much time outdoors as possible, hiking, gardening and walking her dog Booker.
