Biography

Steven Lin was appointed principal of John Beck Elementary School in July 2022, bringing with him 7 years of prior experience in the role of school principal, 4 of which were spent next door at Fort Zeller Elementary School in Eastern Lebanon County School District. Mr. Lin began his career in 2005 as a school teacher in Chesapeake, Virginia. In 2013, he began his journey into school administration serving as an assistant principal and principal in Roanoke City Public Schools and Floyd County Public Schools.

Mr. Lin's educational background includes a B.S. in Elementary Education from Penn State University (University Park, PA) College of Education's Professional Development School (PDS). He also holds a M.A. in Educational Leadership and Administration from the George Washington University (Foggy Bottom, Washington, D.C. / Oyster Point, Newport-News, VA).

Mr. Lin is a member of the National and PA Associations of Elementary School Principals. He is also a member of the Associations for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), serving on the board of the Southern Region chapter of the state's association (PASCD).

Mr. Lin lives in Lititz with his wife, two sons, and daughter. He enjoys time with his family, exploring the local region, playing tennis, cooking, and picking on his banjo. He is grateful for the invitation to join the John Beck and Warwick family and looks forward to continuing its tradition of excellence, student wellness, and local pride.
