Biography

Dr. Szobocsan was appointed Acting Superintendent on July 1, 2024. He continues to maintain his responsibilities as Assistant Superintendent as well.

The 2024-2025 school year will be Dr. Szobocsan's second year as Assistant Superintendent and his eleventh school year at Warwick. He previously served as the Director of Secondary Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, as the Warwick Middle School principal for 6+ school years, and as an assistant principal at the high school. He thoroughly enjoys working with the students, staff, and community at WSD.

Prior to coming to Warwick, he was an administrator and teacher in the Lower Dauphin School District in Dauphin County.

Dr. Szobocsan resides in Lititz with his wife, Kristy, and their children. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, watching his children compete/perform, and participating in sports.
