Susan Shinn-Thomas started her Warwick career in August of 2011 as the Home and School Visitor/School Social Worker. She has worked as a Home and School Visitor/School Social Worker since 2008 in Lancaster county. Prior to working in Lancaster county, she worked as an out patient therapist and a school based therapist in different Dauphin and Cumberland county Emotional Support classrooms. For 9 years at Warwick Susan worked in all buildings in the district. She now works with student in buildings John Beck Elementary and Lititz Elementary and follows those students and their families up through graduations. Susan is also the Foster Care and Homeless Liaison for all buildings in Warwick School District. In the fall of 2020, Susan was thrilled to have a new addition to the social work team when Natalie Strickler joined her in working at Warwick School District as the 2nd Social Worker.
Susan enjoys working with the students, families, school staff and the Warwick community at Warwick School District. Susan is the Homeless and Foster Care Liaison for Warwick School District and helps with resources and educational needs.
