Mrs. Miller lives in Lititz with her husband and two daughters, Morgan and Mollie. They have a dog named Sammy, a cat named Gemma, and two guinea pigs named Sugar Plum and Tinker Bell! They are also the proud caretakers of Lititz El.'s facility dog, Tex! When she is not teaching, she likes to read, exercise, go camping in their family's camper, travel, watch her girls play soccer, or cheer on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
She grew up in Greensburg, just east of Pittsburgh, and graduated from Hempfield Area High School in 2000. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from California University of Pa. in 2004 and her master's degree from Penn State in 2008. She taught second grade in South Carolina for two years before moving to Lititz in 2006. She taught first grade at Kissel Hill for six years, then moved to Lititz Elementary to teach second grade again. She has enjoyed teaching second grade ever since!
