Biography

I began my career in Warwick School District in the fall of 1992 as a Learning Support teacher at Warwick High School.  Previously I worked for six years as a Learning Support Teacher at Pequea Valley High School and then at Cocalico High School.

I continued in the role as a Learning Support teacher for six years and then "retired" briefly in 1998 to raise my family. I returned to Warwick in 2003 as a Learning Support Teacher at Lititz El and then for a year at John Beck Elementary as a Learning Support Teacher.  I started my current position as High School Life Skills teacher in September 2007.   I throughly enjoy being a Special Educator and have a life long passion for all students with special needs.

I live in Lititz and both of my adult children are Warwick grads.  My husband passed away in November of 2021, but before becoming ill he was also a passionate educator at Warwick HS for 15 years.

In my spare time I enjoying hiking, snorkeling and traveling.  Some of my favorite destinations are Banff Canada, Lake Placid, NY, Quebec, Canada, and Hawaii
