I have lived in Lititz my whole life attending Kissel Hill Elementary School, Warwick Middle School, and Warwick High School where I competed on the Track & Field and Football Teams. After graduating in 1985, I attended Bloomsburg University and started my career in education teaching 8th Grade Social Studies at Warwick Middle School in 1990. This is my 33rd year teaching 8th Grade SS and I have been the most seasoned (oldest) member of the teaching staff at the Middle School for several years now. My classroom is known as the museum with artifacts, antiques, and flags displayed on every available surface. More than half of the collection has come from my students over the years, who like to contribute to the every growing historical display. In addition to teaching social studies, I have also been involved with the GAPP (German American Partnership Program) and have traveled with student foreign exchange program five times and counting... We stay with families for a three-week period in and around the region of Bavaria, Germany. I also maintain the HO scale model train display in our Middle School Library and have four N scale operational trains within my classroom. I am a life long Philadelphia sports fans and have high hopes for both the Phillies and Eagles this year.
