“I believe that art is a global experience that will remain with you for your entire life, and broaden your horizons for the future.  Visual imagery is constant and therefore a reminder of all of the contributions of art to society.  Art also is a constant reflection of personal and cultural expression.  I will encourage you to participate in this global experience and awaken you to the diversity that is present throughout our society.”
