During the 2023-24 school year, families will need to complete an application to qualify for free or reduced breakfast and lunch. The applications for free/reduced meal benefits have been made available beginning July 1, 2023, on the Warwick School District website. Families are encouraged to complete the application for meal benefits before the start of the new school year.
If you received a letter from the school district indicating that your child has been directly certified to receive free or reduced school meals during the 2023-24 school year, you do not need to complete an application.
Thanks to the Governor's inclusion of additional funding to schools for meals, all students in PA are entitled to a full breakfast meal at no cost during the 2023-24 school year. In order for students to receive the free breakfast, they will be required to take all USDA-required components of the meal.
In addition, all students who have been approved for reduced lunches will receive their meals at no cost during the 2023/24 SY.
