Last Thursday, our first graders at Kissel Hill attended a field trip to the Lancaster Science Factory with their teachers Mrs. Alyssa Wolfe, Mrs. Erin Kirkpatrick, Mrs. Katie Mansey, and Miss Meghan Quinn.
During this trip, students explored hands-on activities like sensory tables, engineering challenges, and electricity experiments.
“It was so wonderful to see these first graders experience new things and learn by exploring!” - Mrs. Wolfe.
Students were also able to participate in a robotics lab where they programmed robots to move and battle each other – how cool is that?
Due to Covid-19, this was the first field trip ever for these first graders, which made the trip extra special.
It was a very fun day for all involved!
