WMS Student Takes 1st at Districtwide Spelling Bee

Warwick Middle School recently held it's annual Districtwide Spelling Bee.  Finalists from all four elementary schools as well as Warwick Middle School faced off in the spelling bee competition.  After going into five rounds, the winner and runner up were named.  The first place finisher went to 8th-grader Nathaniel Kimmel with the word "scree".  The runner up was awarded to Oliver Maljovec, 6th-grader at Kissel Hill Elementary.

Both students will now move on to the WITF written exam for a chance to move on.

Congratulations to all the Warwick Spelling Bee finalists.
