Students Compete at MadCom

On Tuesday, April 9th, 15 high school students competed at the Pennsylvania Media and Design Competition (MadCom).

Under the leadership of Jonathan Olshan (Lead Advisor), Jeffrey Wile (Expert in Content), and Alina Rakiewicz (Expert in Content), our students placed in a multitude of categories.

MadCom is hosted at the Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 and is a regional competition that encompasses six distinct categories: 3D Design, Web Page Design, Programming, Digital Movie, Animation, and Logo Design. Beyond crafting their projects, participants had the chance to present and exchange ideas with fellow students and advisors before the awards ceremony.

This event serves as a platform to showcase the application of skills, creativity, and knowledge of Pennsylvania students. It provides them with the opportunity to express their creativity, refine their ability to convey information dynamically and enrich the learning experience.

"Witnessing our students’ involvement in the PA Media and Design Competition each year has been incredibly rewarding. For many students, this serves as a passion project, a canvas where they can express their creativity. I’m thankful for colleagues like Mr. Wile and Ms. Rakiewicz, whose support and encouragement have empowered their students to explore the depths of their abilities. Each of our students who embraced the challenge of this competition should be so proud of their efforts!"  - Jonathan Olshan, Technology and Integration Coach.

Amazing job to all of these students and good luck to those who will move on to States!
