The Lititz Elementary School Safety Patrol officers recently taught the kindergarten students about safety at school and the role of an Lititz Elementary safety patrol. The focus was on how the students can be safe walking to and from school, safety on the bus, and safety when walking in the halls and in the stairwells.
The officers created a powerpoint focusing on these concepts, and the highlight of the presentation was when some of the kindergarten students had an opportunity to wear an official safety patrol belt. In addition to creating a presentation for the kindergarten students, the officers are in charge of leading the monthly safety patrol meeting which includes offering a "tip of the month," and recognizing two safety patrols each month who have gone above and beyond their regular daily duties.
The Lititz Elementary officers are:

Ben Rohrer, Malorie Palm and Carly Spade - Bus Sergeants
