The events include: Boomilever (6th place), Mission Possible and Road Scholar (5th place), Mousetrap Vehicle and Write-it-Cad-it (4th place), and Crime Busters (3rd place). This is the first year that the WMS Science Olympiad team has earned state level medals. This year's team for states was composed of the following students: Caleb Anderson, Crystal Kirui, Foster Shrom, Johnny Kellogg, Jonah Ahlers, Maggie Turner, Rebekah Trovinger, Hunter Campbell Jones, Hayden Eby, Ansh Dwivedi, Rya McKain, Jake Matthews, Keegen Dzurko, Austin Van Grouw, and Nicholas Rossi. The team was coached by Mr. Oberholtzer (Head Tech. Ed. Teacher) and Mr. Walter (Science Teacher).

"As a coach you always want to see your kids persevere and succeed. I would say this year they did just that," stated Mr. Walter.
