Ms. Naima Winder started her teaching career here in Warwick School District in 2023. She has always had a passion to educate the youth and enjoys indulging in deep conversations about literature. Book shopping and journaling are some of her favorite hobbies that she uses for her own personal outlets. Becoming an English teacher was introduced to her when one of her own high school English teachers provided her with the confidence and structure of being an educator who loved literature.
The highlight of teaching for Ms. Winder is building connections with her students. Ms. Winder continues to build connections by being the advisor for Warwick's Black Student Alliance club that promotes inclusion for all students.
