Andrea joined Warwick School District in 2004 as the school counselor at Lititz Elementary School. Additionally, she led the PK-12 School Counseling Department beginning in 2022. Andrea completed her educational leadership certificate in the spring of 2025 and transitioned to Assistant Principal of John R. Bonfield and John Beck Elementary Schools in 2025. Prior to her time at Warwick, she served as a school counselor in the Penn Manor School District and as a special education teacher in the School District of the City of York.
Andrea is passionate about building relationships and supporting the educational experience of Warwick students. She loves partnering with families and the greater Lititz community and is committed to fostering a positive and productive learning environment focused on student achievement, collaboration, and community engagement.
Andrea enjoys spending her free time with her husband, her two adult children and their family labrador retrievers, Burton and Nellie. The Shertzers often frequent the mountains of northern Pennsylvania and love supporting the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Flyers!
