
Mrs. Jill Sturgis earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from York College of Pennsylvania and her Master's of Teaching and Curriculum degree at Penn State York. She has also taken classes at LaVerne University, EMU in their Certificate in Trauma and Resilience in Educational Environments program, Immaculata University in their Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Wellness program, and the University of Idaho.
Mrs. Sturgis began her teaching career in the School District of the City of York, where she taught 1st grade for three years and 2nd grade for one year. From 2003 until 2012, she taught 2nd grade at Lititz El. She has been at Bonfield Elementary since the '12-'13 school year, teaching 3rd grade her first year and 4th grade up until the present.
Jill lives in Lititz with her husband and two sons, both of whom attended Bonfield and graduated from Warwick.
