OT is a passion of mine where I feel like I am living my life to the fullest by helping my students do the same! I am so excited to work with you & your child this year! It is going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of growth! Just a little bit about me: I was born outside of Chicago, grew up in Lancaster County, graduated from Conestoga Valley High School! I now live in Manheim, just outside of Lititz! This is my 9th year working at Warwick School District, and I am thrilled to be working in such an awesome community with incredible students, parents & teachers! I received both my bachelor's and master’s degrees from Misericordia University. I completed certificates in Interdisciplinary Approaches to Autism & Trauma Informed Care that I applied towards a clinical doctoral degree (OTD) at Elizabethtown College! I think the best thing about being an OT is the ability to problem-solve with an entire team to find a solution that will make our students as independent as they can be in all areas of life!
Outside of discovering new & creative ways to best serve my students, I love to spend time with family [especially my two nephews!] & friends, go to classes at the gym, volunteer [I volunteer coach Unified Track here at WSD!], explore new eateries or coffee shops in Lancaster, thrift, and most of all - travel!
