Outstanding sixth-grade band students from the Warwick elementary schools participated in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 7 Youth Honors Band 2023 at Cedar Cliff High School on November 18, 2023.
The following students participated:

Oscar Orozco, Clarinet
Harry Nash, Clarinet
Jude Burgess-Getz, Trombone
Noah Carroll, Trombone
Ryder Troxell, Baritone
These talented Warwick students joined 170 fifth and sixth-grade band students from eight Pennsylvania counties to learn a variety of selections. Attending this musical event required these musicians to dedicate additional time and energy to perfect their music, which culminated with a Saturday afternoon concert.
The purpose of the Youth Honors Band is to provide an enriching musical experience for outstanding fifth and sixth-grade band students in the schools located in PMEA District 7. Pennsylvania Music Educators Association is a statewide nonprofit organization of over 4,500 members, dedicated to promoting the musical development of all Pennsylvanians.
