For the months of March and April
We will cover the following in Honors Biology during the months of March and April.
- DNA, Genes, and Gene Expression. How do cells use DNA to store, use, and transmit genetic information?
- Cell Cycle: Cell Division and Cell Differentiation. How do cells multiply, how do tissues grow, and how do cells develop into different kinds of cells?
- Genetics and Biological Inheritance. What are genes, what types of genes exist, how are genes inherited, and what patterns do we see in genetic inheritance?
We will also continue preparing for the Keystone Exam in the following ways:
- Review questions in class using Google Docs.
- Review questions using the Progress Learning resource.
- Completing Biology Keystone sample questions released by the PA Department of Education.
The Biology Keystone Exam will be Tuesday, 5/19 and Wednesday, 5/20.
