Course Description
This course is a life skills course! Learn how to manage your money, how to protect your identity, and how to invest your money for the future. Students today will have to save for their own retirement since they will not be able to live off social security in their future. Learn all about credit - credit cards, loans, paying for college or a car, and credit reports. Learn the cost of living on your own and all the legal and financial ramifications of living independently. Participate in the H&R Budget Challenge (a real life scenario) for 10 weeks, where you will learn some of the ups and downs of living within your means. Also, a heavy emphasis on investing will be covered in this course. Learn how to invest early so that you can retire with up to $1 million in your retirement accounts!
