Sports, Entertainment, and Social Media Marketing

Course Description

Sports, Entertainment, and Social Media Marketing is a hands-on course that explores how athletes, teams, performers, brands, and digital creators connect with fans and consumers in a competitive global marketplace. Students will learn the fundamentals of marketing while applying them to real-world examples from professional sports, film, music, gaming, influencers, and major digital platforms.

Through project-based learning, students will analyze audience behavior, build brand identities, develop promotional strategies, design social media content, and explore the financial, creative, and strategic decisions behind successful marketing campaigns. Topics include market research, branding, sponsorships, event marketing, public relations, media platforms, revenue generation, and digital analytics.

By the end of the course, students will understand how modern marketing turns audiences into fans and experiences into profitable brands—and will be able to apply these concepts to real or simulated business scenarios.
