Course Description

Social studies instruction is tied directly to the Pennsylvania Academic Standards related to History, Geography, Civics & Government, and Economics. The curriculum focuses on the 4 standard areas as it builds and broadens in scope from grade to grade. Second grade students will learn about communities and Lititz, maps and globes, government and citizenship, America's history and heroes, jobs and money, and American symbols and landmarks.
