Music Theory II builds upon the skills developed and knowledge acquired in Music Theory I. In this class students will advance further in compositional techniques used by composers throughout various eras in music and learn the "ins and outs" of the process of composing music. Students will have the opportunity to compose several short pieces of music for the ensembles of their choosing and the final project will be a large scale composition that should be a culmination of all the skills they have learned in music theory I and II.
