Honors Algebra II

Course Description


This course is an intensified study of the topics included in the Regular College Prep Algebra II course.  The pace of the course is accelerated and the topics are discussed in more depth. The students will acquire a deeper understanding of the mathematical concepts included in a College Prep Algebra II curriculum and will develop stronger problem solving techniques and critical thinking skills.  This course will also better prepare students for the more advanced mathematics and science courses that they may choose later in their high school years A TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator is required.
