
Students will concentrate on basic electronic principles utilizing hands on activities in the rapidly progressing technological field. Included in this course will be an emphasis on safety, equipment, basic electronic theory, a study of electronic components, experimental testing, construction of electrical circuits, and the discussion of current issues in the field (industry) of electricity and electronics. Constructing inexpensive take-home projects will also develop practical applications of electrical principles and skills. Strong mathematical skills are helpful.
