Honors Managerial Accounting (Sem)

Course Description

This weighted course is designed for students planning to pursue a two- or four-year degree in accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, or business administration. Shifting the focus from external bookkeeping to internal corporate strategy, students step into the shoes of executives and business owners to study product costing, advanced overhead allocations, and continuous manufacturing systems. Through spreadsheet modeling and cost-volume-profit analysis, students will collect, organize, and analyze internal data to build comprehensive corporate budgets and evaluate management performance.  Honors Managerial Accounting develops the advanced analytical skills needed to communicate financial insights, solve operational problems, and make data-driven executive decisions.
