The Art of History

Course Description


Art of History is a semester-long course for students interested in research of humanities studies and application of knowledge through art making. The course is designed for students interested in the social sciences, Fine Arts, Social Studies or Arts Education, and art-related fields.

This is a cross-curriculum course that incorporates research and project-based learning as well as art making. The course is taught between a social studies department teacher and a visual arts teacher.

Students will survey the art and architecture of different cultures and time periods from prehistory to the present.
