Course Description
Algebra IIA supports students who have yet completed their Algebra Keystone requirement. Students will review Algebra 1 content and extend their knowledge base to include Algebra 2 content incorporating these concepts to problem solving situations. Students will focus their learning on linear equations, inequalities, and systems of equations. Students enrolled in Algebra IIA will take the Winter Algebra Keystone Exam. The second half of the course will include geometric concepts such as angles, area, volume, and basic trig concepts.
