Biography


Mrs. Ann M. Ahlers has been an orchestra director and strings instructor in the Warwick School District of Lititz, PA since 1990. She is also a general music teacher at Warwick Middle School. 

Mrs. Ahlers is an active private instrument lesson instructor and performer as a violinist and violist. Mrs. Ahlers has guest conducted multiple honors festivals such as the LLMEA ‘County’ Orchestra, Central Dauphin SD MS Honors Orchestra, PMEA District 10 Intermediate Orchestra, and the PMEA District 7 Youth String Fest.  

She holds her Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from The Pennsylvania State University and her Master’s Degree in Music Education from Duquesne University. She has taken subsequent graduate courses at West Chester University, University of Wisconsin – Madison and the University of the Arts.

Mrs. Ahlers had performed as a violinist and violist in the Hershey Symphony for 15 years. Her professional memberships include NafMe, PMEA, ASTA and PSEA.  She is honored to work with the students, families and school district staff of the Warwick community.
