At Bonfield Elementary School, students have general music classes in Kindergarten through 6th grade. In the music classroom, we perform vocal music as well as instrumental music. We are very lucky to have many classroom instruments, which include drums, xylophones, metallophones, recorders, ukuleles, and other percussion instruments. Students learn proper instrumental and vocal technique as well as how to read, write, and improvise. Students in 3rd and 4th grade learn how to play recorders and students in 6th grade learn how to play the ukuleles. In 5th and 6thgrade, students have the opportunity to join chorus, orff ensemble, and participate in the school musical. I look forward to making music with you!
