Science Olympiad Students Attend State Competition

Last Saturday, April 30th, our Middle School and High School Science Olympiad teams attended this year’s Science Olympiad State Championship at Penn State Altoona.

The Middle School placed 17th in the state and the High School placed 22nd. 

Our teams earned medals for the following categories:


Middle School Medals:

2nd - Crime Busters

4th - Road Scholar

7th - Ping Pong Parachute

8th - Rocks and Minerals

9th - Experimental Design

10th - Bioprocess Lab


Notable Scores:

11th - Storm the Castle

14th - Codebusters

14th - Mission Possible


High School Medals:

5th - Experimental Design


Notable Scores:

11th - Detector Building

11th - Ornithology

12th - Write It - Do It

12th - Chem Lab

This is the 10th year we’ve had a Middle School Science Olympiad team and the first year we’ve had a High School team. The club is generously funded by the Warwick Education Foundation and was also sponsored by Pepperidge Farms this year. 

Overall, the competition went really well and our students had a blast! Great job to all those involved.
