The VFW of Lititz recently donated $2,100 to the Warwick Police Department for the purchase of bulletproof vests. Commander Bruce McCullough stopped by the district to present a check to Superintendent Dr. April Hershey, Chief John Schofield, and Director of Secondary education Dr. Ryan Axe.
“I can’t thank the Lititz VFW enough for assisting in the purchase of these vests. As a United States Air Force veteran myself, it’s an honor to have them purchased by the VFW,” stated Chief John Schofield.
The Warwick School District Police are very grateful for the support from the local community.
