Students take Top Honors at PA Media & Design Competition

Three Warwick students recently received top finishes at the PA Media & Design Competition:

Seth Jerchau (7th grade) - 1st place, 3D Design
Ryker Geesaman (7th grade) - 1st place, Graphic & Logo design
Ella Brechbill (Junior) - 3rd place, Web page design

The PA Media & Design Competition is an annual event that highlights Pennsylvania students’ application skills, creativity, and knowledge. At both the middle school and high school level, competitions are held in the following categories: 3D Design, Animation, Digital Movie, Logo & Graphic Design, Programming, and Web Page Design. The 2021 regional competition offered students a chance to showcase their projects virtually. All high school and middle school students in Lancaster and Lebanon counties were invited to participate.

Ryker and Seth will now advance to the statewide competition being held this month.

“The PA Media and Design Competition has allowed our students to unleash their creativity, learn how to convey information more dynamically, and empower the learning process through innovative design,” stated Mr. Jonathan Olshan, technology coach at the Warwick School District. “We are so proud of their work and innovation.”

Great job to all participants.
