Warwick Middle School seventh grader, Lyla Brenner, recently competed in the North Museum Science Fair. She competed in the Junior Division under the Consumer Sciences category. Lyla received three Auxiliary Awards: Stengel Foundation Award, Creative Solutions Award, and Broadcom Masters Award; and was also named the Junior Reserve Champion for the Science Fair.
"Lyla is an incredibly diligent and motivated young scientist and I was very happy to celebrate her success after all her hard work with Science Fair,” said Mr. Lee Walter, science teacher at the Warwick Middle School. “I couldn't think of a more deserving student to be recognized for her accomplishments!"
For her science fair project she investigated the effect of the Increasing Degradation of Plastics Using Natural Enzymes.
