Congratulations to Warwick High School sophomore Kerri Hahn for being named to the 2020 All-State Wind Ensemble. Auditions were held virtually for students who qualified for regionals. Although the festival did not take place, she will have the opportunity to audition for All-Eastern and the All-National Group in the coming weeks.
Kerri expressed she was definitely surprised and very excited when she found out she made states. “It was a huge justification for many long hours of practicing. It would’ve meant the world to me to have been able to attend the festival and represent my school and all of my music educators (in school and out of school) in the best way possible. Luckily, I have two more years to hopefully get back there!”
Kerri is the first Warwick High School student to be accepted to the all-state band in quite some time.
