As was shared in the superintendent's report during the board meeting on September 17th, 2019, RLPS Architects and ELA Group submitted required permitting information to the Department of Environmental Protection for approval.
This approval is necessary before the bidding process can take place, and needs to happen before any final decisions about the project can be made. Since the meeting on September 17th, RLPS and ELA group have contacted the district to share that the DEP is approximately nine months behind on project approvals.
Once the project has passed the approval phase, the district will share details of those approvals along with the next steps for bidding and the final decision-making process.
