Children in the Warwick School District who will be five (5) years old on or before September 15, 2019 are eligible to be enrolled in the kindergarten program. Please note that there are several records needed at the time of registration. They include: photo id of parent/guardian, proof of residency (utility bill, lease, tax bill), the child’s birth certificate, and the child’s immunization records to date. Parents may ask their family physician for written verification of inoculations (month, day, year); however, we can accept verification from your personal records as well. Children will not be admitted to school in September 2018 without the proper immunizations. For foster parents, legal guardians, or divorced parents, please bring a copy of the court order or affidavit indicating your parental responsibility.
Registration packets were handed out at the Kindergarten Expo in January and are available for pickup at all of the elementary schools and the district office. You NEED a registration packet in order to have all the required forms completed prior to registering. We cannot process your registration without all requested documentation.Registration will be held by appointment at the Warwick District Office, connected to the rear of the Warwick High School.Please call 626-3734 X3734 to schedule an appointment prior to April 30th in order to participate in the May Kindergarten assessments.
