Congratulations to the 10 students from Warwick High School that qualified for the 2018 PMEA District 7 Chorus Festival, being held at the Susquehannock High School in Southern York County. The festival will take place on January 25th through 27th. The guest conductor will be Dr. Caron Daley, the Director of Choral Activities, Assistant Professor of Music, and Ensembles Coordinator at the Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, P.A.
Dr. Caron Daley has selected a diverse and challenging program for the upcoming festival. The selection includes Heilig - Felix Mendelssohn, Cum Sancto Spiritu (from Gloria) - Antonio Vivaldi, Clothes of Heaven - Mark Sirett, Sensemaya - Robinovitch and Freedom Train by Rollo Dilworth.
Students that qualified for the event are, Daniel Bjanes, Kelly Bosis, Lauren Epps, Amelia Fair, Madison Felpel, Isabella Goss, Andrew McCracken, Josiah McCracken, Heather Mitchell and Johnathan Stephenson.
These talented vocalists are under the instruction of Mrs. Debra Kline-Smith.
