The Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Conference is a three-day development program held in May for outstanding sophomores. HOBY’s vision is to motivate and empower individuals to make a positive difference within the global society, through understanding and action, based on effective and compassionate leadership.
In order to be considered for the conference students needed two letters of recommendations and had to submit an essay, video, or creative piece to showcase what leadership meant to them.
Warwick High School will send two representatives to this prestigious program at Shippensburg University in May. Former HOBY attendees evaluated the candidates and chose Parker Keares and Tate Cargas to represent Warwick at this year’s conference.
Past attendees for Warwick include Montana Lutz and Jenna Walter (Class of 2018) and Mathilda Zartman and Heather Mitchell.
Congratulations to Parker and Tate for their outstanding work!
