2017 Homecoming

2017 Homecoming

Warwick celebrated a great weekend of homecoming activities on Friday and Saturday, October 27 and 28, 2017.  The fun began with a pep rally on Friday afternoon, which included the crowning of Carter Forney as the Spirit King.  The football team was honored at the pep rally, and sports teams enjoyed relay races, cheered on by their classmates.

Friday evening, the Warwick Warrior football team defeated Conestoga Valley in an exciting 55-27 game.  The Warwick marching band, complemented by a group of alumni, played in the stands and during the homecoming ceremony at halftime.

The homecoming court was announced during the halftime show, and included Abby Parsons as second runner up and Talia Bertrando as first runner up.   McKenzie Cossette was crowned Warwick’s homecoming queen for 2017.  Congratulations to the whole court!

The weekend festivities culminated in the homecoming dance on Saturday night, held in the cafeteria at Warwick High School.  This year’s theme was “Alice in Wonderland.”  Student council, with the help of the members of the National Art Honor Society, worked to decorate the halls in keeping with the theme.  A DJ provided dance tunes all night.

A great weekend was had by all!

Many thanks to Ms. Diem and student council for organizing the weekend's activities.
