MS Presented School House Rock
Warwick Middle School presented "School House Rock Live, Jr." on Friday, May 19 in the WMS auditorium.
This was a perfect family show! The Emmy Award-winning 1970’s Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math, science and politics through clever tuneful songs is not only making a small-screen comeback, instructing a whole new generation to “Unpack Your Adjectives” and “Do the Circulation”, it lit up the stage to reinforce the combined power of music, theatre and education.
Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher who is nervous about his first day of teaching, tries to relax by watching TV when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through such beloved Schoolhouse Rock songs as “Just A Bill”, “Conjunction Junction” and so many more.
Middle School participants are: Aaron Dickinson, AJ Germaine, Caleb Goss, Tori Guhl, Camille Cox, Raven Crouse, Amelia Wittmaier, Amelia Blevins, Taylon Madison, Max Miller, George Hartman, Magdalena Lutz, Emma Walls, Ella Durbin, Hope Davis, Jasmine Minnich, Faith-Anne Hilton, Zandaisha Louissaint, Mary Anderson, Gabi Steffy, Elise Balmer, Lilian Waite, and Avery Goshert.
