WHS Welcomes German Exchange
WHS Welcomes 29 Students and Teachers from Germany
On Friday, March 31, 27 students and two teachers from Warwick’s partner school in Germany (König-Karlmann Gymnasium) arrived in Lititz to take part in the 2017 GAPP (German American Partnership Program) Exchange. For the next three weeks, these students and teachers will live with Warwick German students and teachers, attend school at WHS, visit Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and New York City, and will give presentations on German life and culture. The exchange students hosted their Warwick partners in their town during the summer of 2016, and the Americans are returning the favor.
The partnership between WHS and KKG has existed since 1989, and hundreds of Warwick students and families have benefitted from the international bonds of friendship over the last 28 years.
