Mr. Walter's Teacher Profile
7th Grade Science
Welcome to my website! I am Mr. Lee Walter. I am graduate student from Kutztown University where I
earned my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. Prior to Kutztown, I earned my bachelors degree in
Psychobiology, from Albright College. Prior to Warwick I have taught 7th grade life science, 8th grade physical science, 10th grade biology, co-taught a life skills class at Albright College, and worked as an one-on-one aide in a high school life skills classroom.
Becoming a teacher
has always been a goal of mine ever since I was young and I feel
fortunate to realize that goal. My teaching experiences in my career have been wonderfully rewarding and
fulfilling. It is a career I wake up into every day excited about what
it will hold.
I am the Science Olympiad coach for Warwick. My favorite species is
the Ailurus fulgens, or Red Panda, and wish they were more economically affordable. My favorite literature book is The Count of Monte Crisco, by Alexander Dumas. My favorite science book is The Synaptic Self, by Joseph Ledoux.
for my teaching philosophy, it is simple. I strongly believe and expect
excellence from my students, as long as honesty and effort are the
prerequisites. I believe that expectations are the key to success, and
that success is measured by the individuals standard of growth.
