I am a proud product of Lancaster County and have lived the majority of my life here. After graduating from Cocalico High School in 2010, I attended Mount Saint Mary's University with the intent of becoming an environmental engineer. After an unfulfilling year in the program, I knew I had to find another path. Without delay, I transferred to Kutztown University to pursue my B.S. in Secondary Education with a focus in English. Immediately following my graduation, I went back to Kutztown to complete my first year of graduate school in their Master's of Education and Reading Specialist program. I have been teaching for three years at a number of schools including Cedar Creek Middle School (Raleigh, NC), Helen Thackston Charter School (York, PA), and Garden Spot Middle School (New Holland, PA).
Other than teaching, I have held a number of coaching positions for men and women’s soccer and have experience coaching every level of the game. I started my coaching career in college while playing for Kutztown’s collegiate women’s soccer program and since then I have directed a number of high school and collegiate level soccer camps including ID clinics for many universities. I have also served as the Director of Goalkeeping and assistant coach at Penn State Berks for both the men and women’s teams. Currently, I am assisting in coaching the Men’s varsity and middle school teams here at Warwick.
In addition to my career as a soccer player, I was a competitive volleyball player and swimmer. On a personal note, I enjoy antiquing, hiking, fishing, a variety of music, and polka dancing.
