Students will be exposed to authentic materials and conversation in the following contexts: describing events in the past, discussing positives and negatives about where to live, discussing clothing, discussing German cuisine and following a German recipe, comparing the German and American school systems and talking about careers, and reading German fairy tales.  Special attention will be given to the differences and similarities between daily life and attitudes in Europe and America.
