WHS Envirothon Wins Tree

The Warwick High School Envirothon team, Team WAWA, placed first in the Lancaster County Envirothon Competition last month. As part of their award, they received a tree donated by Lancaster County Parks to plant at Warwick High School. Shown are the members of WAWA, one of their advisors, Mr. Brad McClain, and Mr. Rick Hartlieb from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Bureau of Forestry/William Penn Forest Division in Elverton, PA planting the donated tree in one of the high school courtyards.

Team WAWA, comprised of Colin Garner, Anna Kachelries, Austin Grebinger, Samantha Siomko, and Dawson High placed 46th overall in the state when they recently represented Lancaster County at the Pennsylvania State Envirothon Competition held at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, Cambria County.

Way to go Warwick!
